Big Tree Park Proposal | Andrew & Lauren

Surprise proposals are always the most special moments, and are always a blessing to witness and photograph. Usually when I am apart of a surprise I am in hiding (my disguises are 10/10). This was the first proposal that Lauren was aware that I would be taking pictures. She and a friend met me at Big Tree Park thinking I was doing a best friend session.

After distracting her for a little while, giving Andrew some time to get to the gazebo to prepare himself. We walked back to him standing in the gazebo that he had decorated with twinkling lights and garland, and had a playlist set up for out “photoshoot”. That’s when I think it set in what was happening, and she’s getting emotional, he’s getting emotional, and heck I’m getting emotional behind the camera. How can you not? It was such a sweet moment. And you can just see the joy and excitement in her eyes!

After he popped the question they slow danced in the middle of the gazebo under the glow of the lights surrounded by their friends. You could tell it was just perfect and everything she dreamed about. She’ll remember this moment at Big Tree Park forever, and not a bad Christmas gift either ;).
