Mission Viejo Backyard Wedding | Matt & Cristal

I have known Matt and Cristal for several years now and I had pleasure to photograph their sunset inspired Mission Viejo backyard wedding. Ben and Matt are best friends and Ben was one of the groomsmen. I absolutely love being able to photograph wedding of our closest friends. It is always such a blessing.

Their day was beautiful. They were surrounded by their closest friends, family, and zoomed their wedding to friends who couldn’t make it in person. When their venue wasn’t able to accommodate their wedding, they were lucky enough to have family friends in Mission Viejo to host their wedding in the backyard. It ended up being the perfect place for Matt and Cristal.

Their intimate wedding was full of love and laughter, good food (shoutout to Chick-fil-A) and good stories about the bride and groom. After the ceremony and reception, we left to take sunset pictures at the top of a hill in Laguna Beach. We watched as the sun dipped down behind the mountains into the water.

I loved celebrating with them and getting to photograph their wedding and their future engagement photos I owe them. (thanks covid 😉 )
