San Juan Capistrano Bridals | Cate & Colin

You may recognize these beautiful souls from when I photographed their engagement in Lake Arrowhead, CA. Now here we are celebrating their 6 month wedding anniversary with bridals portraits at San Juan Capistrano Mission.

Just like everything else, Covid changed Catherine and Colin’s original wedding plan. So they ended up marrying in a sweet little ceremony over zoom so their family could virtually attend. Because of this, I wasn’t able to attend or photograph the ceremony, so we decided to “remake” those moments.

I have always wanted to do a session at the mission. The way color and light bounces throughout the mission is just beautiful. Add in Catherine and Colin, and you have the perfect picture. These two are the sweetest people. I love that with every session I do with them we become closer friends.

That is literally the greatest thing about my job. Creating beautiful memories for you and your boo is one thing, but creating friendships is so sweet.

Getting to do these bridals portraits at San Juan Capistrano mission was definitely a bucket list item. And I encourage other couples to find fun and unique locations for their sessions!
