Griffith House Wedding, Anaheim, California: I

Jacob and Zoie’s warm Griffith House wedding in Anaheim, California was incredibly emotional, sweet, and a blast all in one! This wedding was just so spectacular that I had to split this into two blog posts! You can read the second part here.

We begin into the day with the private “getting ready” of the bride. Zoie’s sheath white wedding dress was hung near the window, the mismatched red bridesmaid dresses nearby, warm-toned bouquets were being presented, and there was a champagne toast! Lastly, to complete the look, Zoie wore matching pearl and gold jewelry.

The bride’s first look is always such a delicate moment. Zoie and her bridesmaids met together and crushed into a big group hug. Following, a much-awaited father daughter first look occurred. You can tell how close Zoie is with her parents. Not only from the tears shed, but also the father’s personalized tie. Undoubtedly, I was emotional behind the camera capturing these moments!

Skipping over to the groom’s side, Jacob and his boys got ready. Something fun that they all did was wear personalized socks. Some socks had faces of loved ones, while others had silly patterns of birds. I thought this was such a cute and fun idea! Jacob sported a navy blue suit with matching slacks and an auburn tie. Jacob’s groomsmen also wore the matching suit and ties, with everyone wearing red flowered boutonnieres!

After pictures with everyone, I was able to go around and capture details of the outdoor reception beforehand. The details of this warm-colored wedding were to-die-for! The reception went rustic with stationery wrapped in worn ribbon, auburn table cloth, mini candles, dried orange slices, and small flower vases to match the bride’s bouquet. Zoie planned and executed just about every detail on their wedding day and it came out perfect! I just loved the fiery jeweled florals that Zoie and Jacob decided to go with!
