Though it’s the summer, winter photos never hurt anyone! Here’s a cozy winter family photoshoot out at Laguna Beach, California!

Since it’s California, no one really thinks that you can have “winter” photos. Of course, California is famous for the beaches, hot days, and sometimes even that “desert” look. But that doesn’t mean that when December and January rolls around, California isn’t a whole different place! California can get quite chilly during the winter and spring months, which is why the Nelson family is bundled up for their family session out at Laguna Beach! Another nice thing to note is that you probably won’t be sweating as much! Hot summer days = high humidity.

There’s nothing like a good ol’ fashion family shoot at Laguna Beach. This place is such a favorite amongst many couples, families, and even as an engagement spot! You should definitely consider this location for your upcoming shoot. The way the sun hits behind those palms and onto the beach is such a dream!

Also side note: such a fan of everyone’s outfits here. Long orange dress, beanies — the Nelson’s are definitely bringing the cuddle weather vibes to this shoot. I cannot get over how perfect this session was. This cozy winter Laguna Beach family photoshoot is one to take inspiration from!
