Malaga Cove Family Photoshoot in California

Here’s a sweet family photoshoot out at Malaga Cove Plaza and Beach in southern California. A sunny day with a smiley family!

This location at Malaga Cove is truly such an iconic place to take your pictures. Whether you’re aiming for a maternity, engagement—or in this case—a family photoshoot, it’s ideal. Starting off, we have Tina and Diego’s small family out at the plaza. The plaza is a gorgeous backdrop for your pictures. With the red and brown bricks, the bougainvillea, and tables to sit at, there’s plenty of photo opportunities. Following, we walked around a bit more the plaza, where there was a small shaded tree area, and even some shops. At the end, we went down to the beach, where there’s ample room for you and your children to run around. Gentle waves and sweet sands; it’s a win for everyone’s book!

Tina and Diego came to me wanting some updated family pictures. These two are actually people I’ve had the privilege to capture their maternity before! As I’ve reiterated in the past, I absolutely love when old clients of mine come back. It’s such an experience being able to see multiple important chapters of someone’s life. So these two just had their baby and we definitely had to get out and take some family photos! Such a full-circle moment and we all had a blast out at Malaga Cove. Come see for yourself below!
