Newborn Family Home Photoshoot

A sweet at-home family photoshoot with a newborn baby in southern California. A peaceful and intimate way to get family photos!

A few weeks ago, the four (yes, we including the baby!) of us went to Palos Verdes for Laurie and Jack’s maternity photoshoot! This photoshoot was absolutely perfect, and here, we get to see them again in a more intimate setting.

Photoshoots don’t always have to be out somewhere spontaneous and spectacular. Sometimes, they can be in the comfort of your home, which might be the best! Photoshoots can be overwhelming but when you’re doing it somewhere that you’re familiar and comfortable, it can be such a great time!

Here, Laurie had just given birth a month before we took these pictures, and we’re celebrating baby Benji’s one-month here with us! Their baby is so cute, it was such a lovely time. Another thing, when doing newborn photoshoots, it can be hard to bring around a baby everywhere because they can get upset and uncomfortable really quick. When somewhere quiet like your home or your living room, they can be such angels to capture! Definitely consider home photoshoots for newborns!
