Elopements. The occasion is so special, and it’s such a huge honor to be part of something so meaningful to two people. On a day where only your most precious will be present, it’s important to capture all these special memories with the people closest to you. Jackie and Taha had their beautiful and most elegant elopement in Palos Verdes, California!
There are so many beautiful details to be seen here. Jackie wore a white satin A-line wedding dress that had a leg slit. These kinds of dresses are awesome because they have an air of classy sass to it. On the other hand, Taha wore a black and white wedding tuxedo. Some groomsmen prefer ties, but Taha went a fun bow tie!
The ceremony is absolutely gorgeous. The chapel of the indoor ceremony was beautiful and minimalistic. Everyone sat in their pews as Jackie and Taha were wedded at the alter by the priest. The couple performed the Filipino tradition of the “veil and cord” which is to symbolize the two as one and the cord represents fidelity. Such a touching part of the ceremony. After a kiss at the alter, the two were declared husband and wife!
One of the most important parts of you wedding is going to the memories. I’m so thankful I was asked to capture Jackie and Taha’s ceremony and portraits. Congrats to the happy couple once more!
