Golden Hour Laguna Beach Family Session

The iconic Laguna Beach located in southern California… who hasn’t heard of it? Palm trees along the shores, the sandy beaches, and the calm waves… it’s one of the best beaches along the California coast! If you often follow along on the blog, you might recognize this lovely spot. I’ve shot here a few times in the past, and this time around is just as precious!

Some new family photos are in order with a new addition to the crew! Having babies at photoshoots are always so precious and sweet. So quiet and taking in the new surroundings and noises around them. Thankfully, the weather was perfect this day. Blue skies all around, and few to no clouds in sight. This is the perfect weather to capture golden hour lighting. The sunset was radiant and orange, which casted some amazing colors over the beach for the shoot. Nothing better than a golden hour Laguna Beach shoot.

A part of the shoot that I enjoy is when the family gets to play around in the water! It’s always such a hit with the kids. You come out, get pictures done, and the kids get to play around in the water. Sand tag and running around is also a fun little prompt as well. It’s a bit rocky in Laguna Beach in some parts… so it’s good to have a parent around to help!
