Engagement at the Smiley Library in Redlands

Sweet outdoor engagement at the Smiley Library in Redlands, California! Such a cute and lovely rustic red brick area to take engagement pictures.

Who doesn’t want to have a charming little library engagement session? Raven and Daniel came out to Redlands, California to this library and its unique architecture to take some romantic pictures. Though we didn’t take any photos inside, the outdoors area in the front is still such a beautiful spot with the dragons carved into the stone and the floral outside.

For this engagement photoshoot, this couple had the option of changing outfits! For the first outfit, Raven and Daniel coordinated with denim bottoms and a white top. Following, Raven’s second outfit was a short red-orange dress that matched the pale auburn of the building behind her. Daniel stayed in his first outfit which still matched with Raven’s. The couples outfits today were such a great match for the setting and the vibe that they were going for—they nailed it!

As aforementioned, there’s some wonderful attributes to this place outdoors. First, the entryway. Stairs leading up to the doors with dragons and ribbons carved into stone. The library has beautiful red buildings that shine deeply in the sunlight and have been well-loved by time. There’s almost an “academic” vibe to the entire place. A fountain near the front with park benches and manicured lawns. Such a special location for your engagement pictures.

This Smiley Library engagement in Redlands is the perfect summer love story. Two people wildly in love, having a library engagement session with the cutest outfits to match. Doesn’t get better than this!
