St Rita Church Wedding in Sierra Madre, California

Modern wedding at St Rita Catholic Church in Sierra Madre, California with a personal home reception following!

Celina and Matt’s wedding had all the lovely details and everything wrapped together for the perfect wedding day. We start off with the getting ready moments; Celina and her bridesmaids in one room, and Matt with his groomsmen in the other. The theme for their wedding seemed to go towards a minimalistic garden wedding with Celina’s delicate and dainty flower bouquet and all the rustic reception decorations.

Following the getting ready moments, the bride and groom had an intimate first look. A first look during the wedding day can always be very exciting as there’s no two happier people on the planet at the moment. When Matt saw Celina, he gave her a big hug and a sweet kiss on the lips. Some pictures with the bridesmaids and groomsmen followed, then it was off to the ceremony!

The ceremony takes place at St Rita Catholic Church in Sierra Madre. It’s a beautiful indoor ceremony with both views on the floor and above. It was a beautiful time with both Celina and Matt’s closest friends and family present. Everyone listened intently as the two were married. After walking down the aisle, the newly weds gave a precious kiss, and then off to the bride and groom pictures.

Something I absolutely loved about this couple’s wedding was that their reception was in a private residence of a family member. The setting definitely makes the entire evening and celebration that much more meaningful to everyone!
