What’s more sweeter than a cliffside proposal in Palos Verdes, California? It was such a honor to be a part of Scott’s big plan to surprise his now-fiancée, Ainhoa with this romantic engagement session to celebrate their wedding-to-come!
Of course, with a proposal being at this time, the planning of everything had to be perfect. When to get there, when to pop the question, the lighting is to consider as well… so many factors that go into such a precious moment! But, it’s because it’s so precious that so much thinking has to go into it. All the planning and stressing was entirely worth it when Ainhoa said a tearful “yes!”
We went to pop some celebratory champagne, which always makes for a cool prop. The champagne spray is such a classic photoshoot idea, everyone should try it! It’s a bit messy, so if you can do it outdoors, it’ll be an easier time to clean up. After a few glasses—and a few pictures with the glasses—we did a bit of candid walking shots along the cliffside.
This is such a beautiful location that I’ve been visiting for a bit now, it’s always nice to come back to a familiar photoshoot location. Though I somewhat frequent this area, the views never stop being amazing. It’s such a special thing that this proposal happened at sunset’s golden hour—one of the best times for a shoot! The lighting was absolutely perfect—what a day.
This Palos Verdes cliffside proposal was so beautiful—not only the views, but the couple that took another step into their relationship today as well.
